LiftTracker Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 5, 2026
LiftTracker (“the app”, “we”) is an iOS app for logging your weightlifting workouts. This policy explains what data the app handles and why.
Who we are
LiftTracker is published by Arkley LLC. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect and why
- Account information (email). When you sign in with Apple we receive your email address, which is what identifies your account. If you use Apple’s “Hide My Email” we only ever see Apple’s private relay address. We do not store your name.
- Your workout data. Exercises, plans, sets, reps, weights, RPE, dates, and any notes you type. This is the content of the app and is backed up to our server so you don’t lose it if you change or reset your device.
- Diagnostics. We use Sentry, a third-party service, to collect crash reports and performance data so we can find and fix bugs. These reports do not include your name, email, or the contents of your workouts.
- App usage. We use PostHog, a third-party analytics service, to count how the app is used — which screens are opened, when a workout is started or logged, and which features are reached. These are counts and flags only: we never send your exercise names, weights, notes, or any of your workout content. Each event is recorded against your account so we can tell how many people are doing something rather than how many times.
- Purchases. If you subscribe to LiftTracker Pro, we use RevenueCat, a third-party service, to record which plan you bought and whether it is active, against your account. Payment itself is handled entirely by Apple — we never see your card or payment details.
How your data is stored
Account and workout data are stored on Supabase, our hosted database provider. Each account’s data is isolated so that only you can access your own records. Diagnostic data is processed by Sentry, usage data by PostHog, and subscription data by RevenueCat.
What we don’t do
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or track you across other apps or websites.
Data retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated server data from within the app (Settings → Account → Delete account); this removes your account and cascades to delete your workout records on our server and on this device. This cannot be undone. If an account is not used for two years, we may delete it and all of its data.
